China Expert Rob Collins Comments on Mattel Recall

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–According to China expert Rob Collins, American consumers can brace themselves for more recalls. Said Collins today, “The lesson learned in the Mattel case is that even the best of American firms have trouble with quality control with so-called ‘trusted’ business partners in China. Even certified contract manufacturers can’t deliver quality that is up to standard. I predict we’re going to see a lot more of these situations until American manufacturers take charge of quality control by overseeing all phases of production and quality control on a 24/7 basis.

”Remember, there’s still tainted toothpaste on the shelves in China made from a derivative of anti-freeze and there’s no plan by the Chinese government to remove it from the shelves. If the Chinese people don’t care about their own safety, how are you going to instill them to care about quality manufacturing processes for U.S. consumers? Even the Chinese government, for all of their public chastising, really does not have the capability to manage the product and food safety issues.”

It came as no surprise when news of the massive Chinese toy recalls filtered down to me. After all, Chinese companies who have very little experience in state-side regulation wouldn’t be aware of all the ins and outs associated with same. Clearly it’s the resonsibility of firms who do business here in these United States to see that their products meet all safety criteria, and that should be done before, not after importation occurs.

Although I know that everyone’s doing the overseas thing by way of manufacturing, it was a bit of a surprise to me to hear that Mattel stooped to the level of importer of cheap toy products. I could expect that of relatively unknown brands, but for one of the leaders in toy manufacturing to have “other” manufacturers “manufacture” their toy products… well, that should be a slap in the face to ANYONE who dares to call themselves a toy manufacturer.

Evidently Mattel is beyond the point of feeling shame for their unAmerican activities. If the American people don’t wake up soon, they will eventually find that there’s nothing left of their grand country to wake up to.

PRESS RELEASE:

Poisoned Food, Tainted Toys & Job Loss: Like The Results Of NAFTA? You’ll LOVE The North American Union!

Coalition Urges President To “Tear Down The Wall Of Secrecy” At Quebec Merger Summit While U.S. Congressman Urges President To Build UP The Border Wall.

Lancaster, PA/ August 27, 2007 The recent Quebec Security and Prosperity Partnership Summit held at Montebello, Quebec drew attention to a proposed merger of the U.S., Mexico and Canada. The event, attended by President George Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mexico’s President Felipe Calderon drew hundreds opposed to the plan.

Former Director of the U.S. Office of Economic Opportunity and current Chairman of The Conservative Caucus and the Coalition to Block the North American Union, Howard Phillips addressed those gathered to oppose the SPP in Canada. Phillips said, “President Bush, tear down the wall of secrecy. Behind closed doors, step-by-step, the leaders (of the three nations) are setting the stage for…a North American Community and, ultimately a North American Union… (which means we would lose authority) over our economy, our judiciary and our lawmaking institutions”.

Phillips founded the Constitution Party in 1992. The third largest party based on voter registration (Ballot Access News), the Constitution Party is the only political party with a resolution to oppose the SPP/NAU scheme as a threat to America’s constitutional government.

President Bush asked by a Fox News reporter for explicit denial of a plan to integrate the three countries, demurred and ridiculed opponents instead. Dr. Jerome Corsi, author of the New York Times bestseller “The Late Great U.S.A: The Coming Merger with Mexico and Canada” commented: “That’s exactly the same type of response Europeans got from their leaders, even as the EU noose was tightening around the necks of the millions who wanted nothing to do with a European super-state”.

During the SPP Summit in Quebec, where Bush was called on to “tear down the wall of secrecy” surrounding the covert merger, a United States Congressman was calling on the president to build a wall to secure our border with Mexico. While the president was in Canada denying a plan to integrate North America, California Congressman Duncan Hunter delivered a letter to Bush saying, “It is my understanding that approximately $800 million is currently available for (fence building). Despite this funding, only 17.9 of the 854 miles of fencing called for in the Secure Fence Act have been completed as of Aug. 10, 2007.”

The Constitution Party joins Congressman Hunter in calling for immediate efforts to complete a wall at our southern border and joins with those opposed to the SPP/NAU calling for a tearing down of the wall of secrecy surrounding any plans to merge the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Bush to Secretly Meet With Canadian and Mexican Officials

There sure are a lot of things going on behind closed doors right now. It appears that our two jailed Border Patrol agents had stepped into the middle of the New World Order (NWO) North American Union plot, as indicated by the following news item:

Jailed Border Agents Case Tied To Mexican Trucks

As most folks on my mailing list already know, the NAFTA Super Highway, and the invasion of hundreds of Mexican trucks and drivers transporting un-inspected cargo across the U.S., and into Canada is, part of the scheme.

But how many of our dumbed-down American ’sheeple’ really care anymore?

     Just seeking the truth.

Virginia Tech Heightens Security Measures

An internal panel at Virginia Tech University released a set of recommendations to improve security on the campus after the April 16 massacre of 32 victims by student gunman Seung-Hui Cho, who also took his own life.

The panel’s recommendations, issued Wednesday, included having the university provide more counseling for mentally troubled students, erecting Internet-based message boards across campus to alert students of emergencies and installing more surveillance cameras, the New York Times reported.

The school already has implemented some of the panel’s recommendations, such as changing the door handles that Cho chained together so that they cannot be chained in the future. The university also has instituted an electronic alert system, which warns students and staff members of emergencies through e-mails, text messaging and instant messaging.

The untold story that the press continues to ignore, failing to report all the story and not just a portion thereof, is that of situations where an armed citizenry have been instrumental in thwarting attacks like that which took place at Virginia Tech. Oh, but we don’t want to go there for fear that it might encourage our citizens to have, no less carry a weapon for general protection.

If a criminal were to do some serious research in your neighborhood by determining which household might have weapons and which ones doesn’t, do you have any idea which of the two homes he would attack? If you live in the household with guns, then you know that the criminal probably wouldn’t attack yours. It’s the unarmed family that has the most to worry about.

Let’s hope that the next college where this takes place is in the country where people still have some common sense, not to mention an old squirrel gun in the back of the pickup truck. Ah, but you and I will never hear about that one anyway as the chicken-shxt press will continue to ignore the facts, replacing it with their own brand of truth. Problem is, most of them are either ignorant of the facts as they spout whatever they’re told or they simply don’t have the guts to try the truth on for size.

In this world so harsh and fretting
I bless the power of forgetting
Above all boons the Lord has given
This side of heaven.
How much of anguish and of woe
And sorrow in this world we know,
And if we could not all erase
From memory except a trace,
Our lives would be a nightmare’s ache
From which we never would awake.
But now the trouble and the pain
Ebb slowly from the heart and brain,
And after months we may resume
Our natural cheer before the gloom.
Even tho the scar is very deep
It does not hinder us from sleep.
So in this life of pain and sweat
I praise the power to forget.

This reminds me of something that I’d like to share with you related to my past and our present. In the 1980s, I lived for the news. I watched the 6 and the 10 o’clock news on television, listened to one of my favorite radio stations all through the day that had news every half hour, listened to talk shows on the radio that involved news events, bought the newspaper nearly every day, and subscribed to two or three news magazines, such as US News and World Report, Time, Newsweek, etc.

     Not any more my friend!

There came a point when I said to myself, “Self (that’s what I call myself), what matter is it in the grand scope of things whether I am 100% up on current events? Will it bring a drowned boy back to life, will it bring back lost lives due to a capsized boat, will it stop wars in progress or reverse events of any kind? What bad will it perpetrate on society if there’s one less person watching the news?”

The fact is, nothing will change, other than we, ourselves. I’ve been off the news wagon now for about a year and a half and I have to tell you… IT FEELS MIGHTY GOOD!

Try it. See what it does to your life. Why do you have to be up on every little thing that goes on thousands of miles away? Will it add one day to your life? I doubt it. But I’ll bet the worry and daily trauma brought about by watching it on the tube could shave a few days off.

Take some time off from the news and I guarantee you will feel better for it.

Yours, Albert

Politics Of War: Barack Obama tells the VFW there’s no military solution in Iraq while Gen. David Petraeus proves him wrong. Petraeus is scheduled to report to Congress on Sept. 15. We’d prefer Sept. 11.

Like many other Democrats, former Illinois state legislator and freshman Sen. Barack Obama grudgingly acknowledged at the VFW convention in Kansas City, Mo., this week that the surge, only now complete, was working.

Let’s talk right down to earth here if I may… what right does any nation have to enter, occupy, and topple another nation’s leadership? Once the people of the world are convinced and believe that this is OK, all bets are off and the world becomes a place where laws are passed for self serving reasons as lawmakers rationalize their actions for sake of some advantage either at home or abroad.

Read with me if you will George Washington’s words to you and I. These words apply to here and now. Imagine him sitting across the kitchen table as he speaks to you regarding the very situation we see today. He tells us how NOT to have this happen, but there were those among society who felt they know more than President Washington. Yes, he should be addressed in this manner just as you and I would call Bill Clinton President Clinton.

The leaders of Canada, Mexico, and the US face anxieties at home about weaker national sovereignty.

By Howard LaFranchi | Staff writer of The Christian Science Monitor from the August 22, 2007 edition

Washington - Cooperative – but not too close.

With the leaders of the United States, Canada, and Mexico each facing rising anxieties at home over perceptions of weakening national sovereignty, that was the common objective of Tuesday’s NAFTA summit at a wooded resort in Quebec.

US President George W. Bush, Mexican President Felipe Calderón, and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper wanted their annual gathering to highlight efforts to accommodate booming trade among the three countries while also enhancing border security. To that end, the leaders were expected to announce a new plan for meeting border-crossing demands during emergencies – either natural or man-made, such as a terrorist attack – at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

But even as hurricane Dean bore down on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, a figurative storm of national-sovereignty fears was churning relations among the three neighbors, linked by the North American Free Trade Agreement since 1994. The anxiety reflects disappointments over NAFTA’s results, some experts say, even as the trade agreement is blamed for the perceived negative impact of closer relations.

To read the rest of this story, Click Here

All I can say is, “I wonder why there are reservations concerning sovereignty!” Why are we doing this? Ask yourself that one, single question: “Why do we have to do this?”

Also, ask yourself, “who’s behind this, really?”

The phrase, “Follow the money” is a popular one, but it’s one that might apply here. Follow the money and you should determine in your mind who has the most to gain by centralized government? Think about it.

     Yours, Albert

New Science Challenges Climate Alarmists
By Steven Milloy, www.junkscience.com

Tuesday, August 14, 2007 — “People like to complain about the weather,” goes the old saw. This is especially true nowadays as bad weather becomes an excuse for the climate alarmist-friendly media to trot out its manmade global warming boogeyman.

The alarmists seem to need thinly-veiled headlines — such as the Washington Post’s “Across Globe, Extremes of Heat and Rain” (Aug. 8) and the New York Times’ “Warming Threatens Farms in India, U.N. Officials Says” (Aug. 8) — as two more studies published this week in the journal Science and the discovery of an embarrassing temperature error rained on their parade.

Back in the 1990s it was said that one of the main proponents of an on-coming ice age was actually at the forefront of the global warming snafu. Guess he wants his cake both ways!

God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change,
     though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble with its tumult.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, whe shall not be moved;
God will help her right early.
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Come, behold the works of the Lord,
how he has wrought desolations in the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth.
he breaks the bow, and shatters the spear,
he burns the chariots with fire!
“Be still, and know that I am God.
I am exalted among the nations.
I am exalted in the earth!”

The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Psalm 46

A number of years ago I went through some tough times. When I made it out on the other side I was weak, afraid, and unsure of myself and the world I live in. I turned to God for help during the ordeal and when I finally got up off the ground, I found Psalm 46.

For quite some time I would read this psalm to myself while sitting in my car. While the motor warmed I sat and read my prayer book in which I found this most helpful and glorious passage. Each day I started with a prayer after reading Psalm 46.

What I discovered because of my ordeal was that by myself I am nothing. All I have and all I am come from the Most High, God, without which I can do nothing. Only through the Creator of all people, all races, all leaders, all religions can any of us do a thing, whether it’s moving mountains or simply driving down the road to our jobs.

”Thank you Lord for the power, desire, energy, and the sustinance to go about my way each and every day. –Amen”

Dogs to receive chip implant in Singapore

Singapore, Aug 8: All dogs in Singapore will have to be implanted with a microchip enabling them to be traced back to their owners starting next month as part of a crackdown on irresponsible pet ownership.

Under measures unveiled by the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA), allowing man’s best friend to run free without a licence will incur a fine of up to 5,000 Singapore dollars (about $330), a 10-fold hike from the current maximum.

It seems that once you accept the tagging of animals among us it’s a short stretch to that of people! Yes! There is a movement in some circles to tag humans just like they already do animals, such as dogs, horses, and others!

A chip on my shoulder

TECHNOLOGY is not solely to blame for the erosion of privacy in this nation. Government and businesses have been trying to keep track of you and your habits since the days of the quill pen.

But the ability to blend vast databases containing personal information — and the sophistication of tracking devices that can announce your presence along with myriad vital statistics when you cross a bridge or enter a room — have brought Americans to a crossroads.

Do we shrug and concede that privacy is lost — “get over it,” as one titan of tech declared so bluntly? Or do we look for ways to draw the line, to identify means and places where employers and governments should not dare to tread?

One such place: Our bodies.

You gotta read this one: Click Here!

Okay, the numbering of people like cattle is nothing new. In the 21st chapter of 1 Chronicles, verse 1, it says “Then Satan stood against Israel and incited David to number Israel.”

In Exodus 38:26 it tells of God’s own number of the people of Israel about three or four months after they successfuly escaped from the Egyptians. In this case a census was taken in order to raise money for the Tabernacle. There were 603,550 men, 600,000 of which are said to have been in, and escaped from Egypt prior to this.

Need more proof that there are those among human kind that intend to number and track people?

In a recent news story by KUTV, Channel 2, Salt Lake City, Utah, a plan to implant chips in the brains of U.S. soldiers came to light. However, when you click on the link to that particular news page, it’s not there anymore. The first one below comes from KUTV’s own website and the second from Google News:

U.S. Military May Implant Chips In Troops’ Brains
Aug 2, 2007 8:08 pm MT
Imagine a day when the U.S. government implants microchips inside the brains of U.S. soldiers. Well you don’t have to think too far into the future. The defense department is studying the idea …

US Military May Implant Chips In Troops’ Brains
KUTV, UT - Aug 2, 2007
This is how big the chip would be, the size of a grain of rice. Here’s the situation: a soldier wounded on the battlefield. A medic approaches him or her …

Odd how news items like this can suddenly disappear overnight.

And then there’s the material covered on human implants in the Wikipedia Organization’s own interactive website:

Microchip implant (human)

A human Microchip Implant is an integrated circuit device or RFID tag encased in silicate glass and implanted into a human’s body. Such implants can be used for information storage, including personal identification, medical history, medications, allergies, and contact information….

If the microchips are completely unencrypted, they would be extremely vulnerable to hacker attacks and interception by third-party scanners. By scanning secretly, someone could steal all of the information on a chip and could clone the signal, possibly leading to criminal misuse of medical files and insurance information. For example, a patient’s list of known allergies could be altered maliciously, causing injury or death, or his/her insurance could be copied for another unrelated person to use.

check this out!

I think the bottom line here for me as an individual is this: chips in animals is one thing, but chips in humans for any purpose is another issue. Common sense should tell us NO! No chip in me today, tomorrow, or any time in the future. After all, chips are for animals, not for humans.

Are we but cows in the field to be herded from one field to another–from barn to barn? Are we horses that farmers track to determine shots and other health issues? Do we need to chip people to determine ownership as we do dogs and other animals? Nope!

Makes no sense to me folks. What about you? Let’s hear your thoughts on this. Be sure to contact me or simply subscribe to this blog and submit your comment for inclusion on the site.
