The Role of Technology
Never before in the history of humankind has technology played such an important role as it does now. No matter what your religious persuasion may be, the remaining prophetic portions of your Bible, as well as the rest of our lives, are sure to be spent submerged in a high-tech environment. This website is intended to address this issue from a Christian point of view, and I welcome others to share their own views from the perspective of their own religious stance.
As a technical writer in the electronic security and life safety markets I come into contact with many technologies that may have a bearing on our high-tech future. Like a proverbial two-edged sword, these technologies have the power to free men from the daily drudgeries of life or to enslave them, insuring pain and sorrow.
Below you will find a short list of our most recent work. In addition you can review a long list of past blog entries.

Mission
The overall mission of GKO has always been to present ideas and perspectives that cause men to think, to ponder, especially where it comes to technology. My own efforts in this regard have not always been met with appreciation on the part of those who guide and prod society in particular directions. Let’s say that these men represent invisible seats of power.
My own concern is that society understand the negative effects that technology can have on their personal lives. In order to do that it’s often necessary to draw a comparison to the past, which is necessary in order to see where we are, what direction we’re headed in, and the possible outcome. Foremost is the fact that by drawing comparisons we may very well come to understand that it is no accident that we’ve arrived at this juncture at this specific point in time.
In existence since 1995, GkO is working to make a difference. Our mission is to provide insight into technologies that, on the surface may appear wonderful and convenient, but in reality may have a negative impact on the human condition, especially the psyche of man.
