Facebook has gone a notch higher in maintaining its reputation in the social media industry, I recently noticed that the only thing it is not in control of is tabloid(ing) done by people for celebrities, you will never know the real fan page of, say, Akon, they are lots of them…

This is a nice insight. Facebook privacy concerns have of late raised a lot of issues including me. However, any exposed private past is more of the user failing to understand how to configure the settings that come with facebook. Otherwise, I still consider Facebook the most secure social network.

There are many cases of hackers breaking into government and private sector computers. In the following story, scientists have been able to decode (or hack) the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

"The Ruhr University Bochum's (RUB) Horst Görtz Institute for IT security today issued an announcement detailing how researchers there have broken encryption algorithms known as A5-GMR-1 and A5-GMR-2 that are used to secure civilian communications between mobile phones and satellites based on the GMR-1 and GMR-2 satphone standards," says Ellen Messmer, Network World US writer.

Having been in the Volunteer fire service and driven trucks with
federal Q sirens- electric motor driven units on them they are loud but your in an enclosed cab
and just the shear noise the diesel engine and everything else going on the sirens are not that loud.
So I do not get where they could possibly think the sirens caused there hearing loss. and most modern fire trucks you have head sets on anyways to communicate due to all the different noises.
There is something else going on here.and I smell a rat.

Unfortunately there was some kind of software glitch on the old php website and the entire thing crashed. I’ve tried to bring it up several times to no avail. I am working on a new one now. About 2 years worth of work down the drain, but all the material on it is still out there on other websites.

When the new one is ready, I’ll release the new URL here.
