What will we do if and when the Internet does finally crash and burn?

Add to this, the Amazon monster glitch that disrupted most of the East Coast internet last week, and you get an idea of how vulnerable the Internet can be.
15-20 years ago, if the web went down, it would have been no more than an inconvenience to us surfers.
But now that the entire world economy and most all governments depend on the Internet, just a 5-day total outage would likely bring down the world economy, and possibly ignite warfare across the globe.
Too bad that the whole system did not crash and become useless BEFORE it was decided that we and every business in the world could not live without it and became slaves to it!
Remember when we used to just pick up that old dial phone and call someone, or write them a letter sometimes?
Or when we bought all our stuff locally… and with cash?
And don’t get me started on smart phones and texting… where people walk around like zombies checking their ‘social media’ and playing online games. Or engaging in the deadly practice of ‘texting’ while driving!
So… What will we do if and when the Internet does finally crash and burn?
Maybe we should all have been more careful as to where we laid up our treasures.
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
